Overview

Came back after a few weeks and something looks different? This page is the short list of what changed — new things added, and bugs fixed — written for you, not for engineers. It is drawn from the product changelog and kept up to date as releases ship. If a change isn't visible on your screens, it won't be here.

Where to find it

There is no separate "Changelog" screen inside Neev — this Help Center page is the running list. Bookmark it and check back. It is web-only and readable by every role; the actual screens each change touches still follow their normal access rules (for example, only finance roles see the GST summary tab, and only Owners reach Settings).

Key concepts

A couple of words you'll see below:

  • The public demo is a click-through copy of Neev at demo.onneev.com filled with sample data. It is for showing the product — it is not your live account and nothing you do there is saved.
  • A hydration glitch is when a page flickers or briefly shows the wrong text right after it loads, because the screen and the server disagreed for a split second. The fixes below stop that.

What's new — current

Added

  • A public demo you can share. There is now a fully click-through demo at demo.onneev.com, filled with one coherent Indian-distribution dataset — orders, intake, approvals, customers, inventory, WhatsApp, invoices, returns, pricing, shipping, warehouse, notifications, reports, settings and suppliers. Every menu item opens a real-looking screen; none of them dead-end on an "in the full product" message.
  • Records you can open in the demo. In the demo, clicking a row now opens a populated detail page — an order, an invoice, an inventory item, a quotation, a return, or a customer's ledger — instead of a placeholder. The detail you open matches the row you clicked.
  • "See the dashboard" goes straight to the demo. The button on the marketing site now drops you into the public demo (demo.onneev.com/home) instead of the login screen, so you can look around before signing in.

Fixed

  • GST summary in the demo is clearly marked as sample data. On the public demo, the GST summary tab now carries a "Sample data — illustrative" label, so nobody mistakes the demo figures for a real GSTR-3B return or a filed e-invoice.
  • No more flicker when a page loads. A hydration glitch (React #418) on every dashboard page is fixed. The keyboard-shortcut symbol ( on Mac, Ctrl on Windows) and the home-screen greeting and today's date now show a steady value the moment the page paints, then settle to the real value once it finishes loading.

Common workflows

1
Check what changed
Open this page. The newest additions and fixes sit at the top under "What's new — current".
2
Show someone the product
Send them demo.onneev.com. They get a full click-through tour with sample data — no login, nothing touches your real account.
3
Open a sample record in the demo
Click any row in a demo list to open its detail page — order, invoice, inventory item, quotation, return, or a customer's ledger.

Role notes

This page is a notice board — it grants no powers and every role can read it. What each role can do with the changes follows the usual rules for those screens:

  • Owner and Manager see the broadest set of dashboard screens, so the hydration fix touches the most pages for them.
  • Accountant is the role that works with the GST summary and reports day to day, so the "Sample data — illustrative" relabel matters most when demoing finance screens.
  • Operator, Sales, Warehouse and Delivery see the same steady, no-flicker page loads on the screens they already have. None of these changes adds or removes any permission — they are display fixes and a demo, not new capabilities.

Tips & time-savers

Tip
Want to show a supplier or a new hire what Neev does without handing over your real login? Send demo.onneev.com. It opens straight into a populated dashboard, every screen is click-through, and nothing they tap can change your live data.

The fixed keyboard-key symbol ( vs Ctrl) is the same one used everywhere shortcuts show up — for the full list, see the keyboard shortcuts page. Toggle density with Ctrl\\.

Gotchas

Warning
The public demo is sample data only — including its GST summary, which is labelled "Sample data — illustrative". Do not read demo figures as a real GSTR-3B return or a filed e-invoice, and do not treat anything you enter in the demo as saved. For real filing and records, use your own logged-in account.
